Course Name Change Announcement:

Math 15, our Introductory Statistics course here at SRJC, will now be STAT C1000 in accordance with the Statewide Common Course Numbering project. You can find all listed sections starting Fall 2025, under Statistics in the online Schedule of Classes. For information on all SRJC Math classes and Corequisite Support Courses please go to our Math Classes page.

Mission Statement:

The Mathematics Department of Santa Rosa Junior College is a dynamic group of individuals who have great enthusiasm for the teaching and learning of mathematics. Department philosophy demands high standards, encourages participation in professional organizations, and places primary emphasis on quality undergraduate teaching. The 25 full-time instructors sponsor student scholarships for mathematical excellence, and the college offers Doyle scholarships to deserving students. Over the past decade, the SRJC team has consistently ranked high in the AMATYC National Student Mathematics League Contest. Support services to students include student readers, faculty office hours, and a college tutorial center. The Math Lab, a computer and Tutorial Center, supports and enhances classroom instruction.
